I have to admit I did some blog stalking to see how other people wrote their 'about' sections. Some people even wrote theirs in the third person? I find it very hard to describe myself.. but here we go.
I'm Magdalene, more known as Mags or Muuuuuumy. Ever since I was a tot I have been very goal oriented. A trait I took through school, university and in my working life. So to go from that, to my biggest achievement a day being- putting away the laundry... let's just say it's taken some adjusting.
In the last year we have moved from Auckland, New Zealand multi-cultural metropolis to the small town of Rotorua, doubled our number of children (from one to two), bought our first home and for the first time in 10 years I am not doing any paid work
My story is a more light hearted and somewhat unstyled and unfiltered approach to this parenting/wife-ing thing.
Like most full time mummies we live on one income (my husband is AMAZING). But I'm still a lover of beautiful spaces, natural baby products and amazing food. Come and journey with me as I try and satisfy my loves on a budget, raise my tiny humans as a follower of Christ and survive this wonderful thing called domestication!
